I’ve been coming to this salon for years. The past few times the service and the quality hasn’t been great but I kept coming because it was always reliable. I called to schedule a cut and special occasion style and told them on the phone it was for our engagement party and photoshoot. I came and waited but my stylist never showed up. The other stylist present was occupied with another client and said that my stylist must have forgotten to come in. She was sympathetic when I told her it was for an important occasion, but I ended up just having to leave as my stylist was unresponsive. I couldn’t find another salon on such short notice either so I’m doing my own hair today and will no longer be a customer here.

Booked an appt online under “Color Bundle Services” Chose a service that said starting at $135 which leads you to the next page listing the stylist and their prices. It had an option to choose “Any Stylist” $135. That is what I booked. I brought $200 with me to cover the cost and tip. Came into my appt and the stylist Mani was friendly and she started doing my hair. She told me she would give me 20% off since I was a first time client. That was the ONLY thing she mentioned about rate/money. At the end I told her I was pleased and she told me the amt was $335. I was in shock and didn’t understand why, I told them I didn’t have enough. She explained what she did, which is what I booked for. There were other customers in the salon (Sat) and I was shocked, embarrassed and panicking on what to do. I had to call someone who calmed me down, came into the salon paid AND gave them a $60 tip. Total Bill: $395. I called to ask why the following Mon it was so much and was told Mani’s prices were more expensive. I explained I booked “Any Stylist” for $135 and they just said her prices were more..They also lied and said as soon as I sat down Mani told me her prices. LIE! Had she said this service was $335 and I only had $200 on me I would have walked out. I was told Monday the District Manager would call me, and today is Thurs and still no phone call. These people are beyond unprofessional, scammers and rude. (Only speaking of the manager and Mani the stylist). On top of all that, behind my left ear is a huge streak of gray that didn’t get covered. For $400 I would have been way better off going to a much more experienced, classier establishment. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Its unethical and poor business practices to do what they did. If you book a service for a cheaper rate using any stylist, you shouldn’t have to when you sit down ask them are they the $135 stylist. Just Horrible!

Critical:QualityMani had done mine and my daughters hair for yrs. Her work has deteriorated over the last months. My daughter’s hair was green in areas & yellow in others when it was supposed to be BLONDE! I had to contact the District Manager to get a refund bc Mani ignored my calls regarding it being fixed or a refunded, for 2-3 weeks. With my hair, she mixed what she thought I wanted & would never ask me what I wanted, recently. The last time I had to come back 2 additional times to get it fixed. I went in for a perm today and my stylist was Jasmine. She evaluated my hair and we decided that it wasn’t quite healthy enough for a perm (which I completely understood). She instead set me up with a conditioning treatment and treated me amazingly throughout the whole appointment. Jasmine has been the nicest, most professional stylist I’ve ever been to. I always get nervous going to new stylists because most will criticize me on how my hair is and not treat me as nicely as Jasmine did. I’ve set up two more appointments with her in the future and am very excited to see how my hair progresses! Thank you Jasmine!!

I’m with the mom who reviewed below and said if the salon doesn’t get some things fixed they’re going to lose some long standing customers. I simply needed to cancel an appointment today, the automated system kept directing me to the website — that would have been fine IF my upcoming appointment had been listed so I could cancel it, but it wasn’t. I figured out that if I kept saying “operator” or “human being” the automated system would ring the front desk and FINALLY (4 or 5 loops) got a person who was able to take care of what I needed. Should have been simple and not frustrating — instead way too complicated to cancel and certainly frustrating!
